Event Overview
This interactive workshop is designed for faculty and instructional designers eager to explore the transformative potential of AI in higher education. Through discussions and practical activities, participants will learn how to guide students in leveraging AI tools responsibly and effectively, enhancing engagement and fostering a culture of academic integrity. Together, we will examine AI's possibilities and challenges, equipping educators with strategies to incorporate AI meaningfully into teaching and learning.
Session Outcomes:
Participants will be able to:
- Develop foundational knowledge of generative AI technologies and their capabilities in educational contexts.
- Examine ethical considerations and challenges associated with integrating AI into coursework.
- Design practical approaches for AI into teaching practices to enhance student engagement and learning while upholding academicincorporating integrity.
