Jennifer Sparrow, Ed.D.

Bio: Jennifer Sparrow is a senior manager in US higher education strategy and business development for Amazon Web Services. Before joining AWS she served as deputy CIO at Penn State and AVP for Teaching and Learning with Technology. She continues to teach for the College of Information Sciences and Technology at Penn State. Prior to that she was at Virginia Tech as the Executive Director for emerging technologies. In her work at Penn State and on the Board of Unizin, she researched industry-wide trends and helped institutional and industry leaders looking to understand the role that technology can play in transforming their institutions and organizations.
