App Appreciation: Using Meaningful Apps in Higher Education - Webinar
Speaker: Roxann Riskin
For the past twelve years, Roxann has been the Library Technology Specialist, and Technology Student Supervisor at the Fairfield University, DiMenna-Nyselius Library. In addition to providing a wide variety of technology support from server to desktop to mobile devices, Roxann, in a prior position as Coordinator of Learning Disabilities at a community college, is also the university library’s educational /technology liaison resource for the Accessibility Department. Speaker: Robert Hoyt
Robert has been a librarian since 2012, and has been at Fairfield University since 2014. Tasked with running and maintaining all online patron interfaces, Robert aims to enhance user experience, adopt functional new technology, and effectively aid in the usage of library resources. In addition to his work at Fairfield University, Robert is the co-founder of Reftab, a cloud-based asset management system and helped design and English language learning platform in Japan, Eigooo.
