Building Augmented Reality Apps - Webinar - presented by Apple
Steve Hayman
Steve Hayman is a National Consulting Engineer with Apple's Application Development Team, based in Toronto, Canada. He's been at Apple for 29 years and got his start doing object-oriented development when working for NeXT, a company Apple acquired in 1996. He still finds it amazing that those tools and systems from NeXT have turned into Xcode and that he can now write apps that run on his watch. Prior to NeXT, Steve was a network administrator for Indiana University and the University of Waterloo, where he obtained both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Math, which he now concedes is way more math than you actually need to know. He founded and, for 22 years, led Argonotes, the Toronto Argonauts Band, which he thinks is possibly the finest band in the Canadian Football League.
Dave Pugh
Dave Pugh has been the Apple Systems Engineer for higher education in Michigan for nearly 15 years. Dave has an in-depth knowledge of a wide variety of technologies but has spent extra time in the areas of app development and wireless technologies. Before joining Apple, he worked as a lead Mac system administrator at the University of Michigan, during which time he spoke at numerous MacWorld conferences and co-authored a few Mac OS X Server administration books. Prior to working at the University, Dave worked in the internet service provider and server colocation businesses writing internal databases and web tools.
