Transforming Your [Online] Classroom with Canvas Studio - Webinar - presented by Canvas

Sal Spatarella
Sal Spatarella is an Account Executive at Canvas who is currently supporting the Northeast territory. Prior to joining Instructure, Sal worked as a Digital Solution Specialist for Wiley, servicing and supporting their online digital learning platforms. Over the past 6 years, he’s worked closely with Higher Ed faculty and staff in helping to incorporate an online blended learning experience. 


Cade WIlder 
Cade has been an Account Executive and a Customer Development Consultant in the Mid Atlantic Territory for the past 2 years. Cade has been in many roles with Canvas over the past 7 years, with his first role being in Customer Success. One specific highlight would be working with the Online Education Initiative as they were adopting Canvas. He helped consult with individual schools within the consortium to get them up to speed and set up for success with Canvas as their new LMS. 


Jess Schreier
Jesse is the Coordinator of Instructional Technology at Massasoit Community College and the CANVAS Administrator. At Massasoit, Jesse has helped grow the Open Educational Resources (OER) program to one of the biggest in the state, helping save students over $2,000,000 in textbook costs since 2015. He has spearheaded the adoption of Canvas Studio as the preferred video platform in Canvas. Before turning his career to instructional technology, Jesse earned his Ph.D. in U.S. History from UCLA. He currently teaches online history courses at UMASS-Lowell. 


Mike Gregory 
Mike is currently the Director of Teaching and Learning at Reading Area Community College in Reading, Pennsylvania (60 miles northwest of Philadelphia). Mike’s role includes overseeing professional development for faculty, administering the LMS, managing instructional design, and development of new online programs.

Mike received his Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering from Lebanon Valley College. He brought his audio and video production experience to Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business, where he oversaw the development of instructional multimedia materials. He received his Master’s degree from Drexel University in Learning Technologies and Instructional Design. His unique combination of education and experience have contributed to his initiatives at Reading Area Community College for increasing instructor engagement in online courses, specifically through media. An initiative for which is a finalist for the 2020 Bellwether award.
