Stacy Cohen
Instructional Technologist, Framingham State University

Stacy Cohen is the Instructional Technologist at Framingham State University and works collaboratively to manage the implementation and configuration of enterprise Ed Tech software that supports teaching and learning. Projects include supporting Teaching with Technology Grants, program assessment, and
video and lecture capture policy and procedures. She brings a background as a K12 educator and a passion for inclusivity and access. Presentation themes include engagement, accessibility, and active learning, with expertise in video and virtual meetings. She holds a B.A. in English and secondary education from Bridgewater State University and an M.Ed in Ed Tech from Framingham State University.


 

Erin Sanders-Sigmon 
Professional Multilingual Deaf Interpreter

Erin Sanders-Sigmon is a game-changer, mentor, deaf, and  DeafBlind multilingual Interpreter, transliterator, writer, consultant, abolitionist, and survivor of ZOOM Culture. She believes in 360* views, ALL Justices, especially Language, Disability, Transformative, Restorative, Social, and Racial Justice. 
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.  Ms. Sanders-Sigmon's lifelong aim is to dismantle all hierarchies, and while uplifting the underrepresented, underserved, also influencing those in a position of privilege. The mission? To unite and create a just environment and spaces that are fully accessible for all walks of life,
in the plethora of settings that exist in our current milieu., and finally, passing on that legacy. A just legacy that is sustainable... until the end of time. 



 

Steph Kent 
Faculty, Framingham State University

Stephanie Jo Kent, CI, Ph.D., is a community interpreter, educator, and facilitator, inspired by the languages of American Sign Language and English. She is an advocate for the real value of interpreting, which is inherently social: being in interpreted interaction provides a unique window on the humane balance of relationships with each other and the information we seek to learn and share. Interpreted communication can be better communication, especially when the difference is involved: cultural, linguistic, and interdisciplinary. Interpreting is most necessary when trying to solve tough problems. Steph received a Fulbright grant for her dissertation fieldwork at the European Parliament, is a Visiting Lecturer in Communication Arts at Framingham State University, and interprets professionally for h/Hearing and Deaf people in a wide variety of work and academic settings.
