Event Overview
Effective communication is at the heart of workplace interactions, yet miscommunication remains a common challenge. It can lead to costly misunderstandings and create barriers to a sense of belonging. Miscommunication often arises from assuming others see the world as we do. This webinar provides participants with a practical framework for navigating workplace communication, introducing the basic communication model while addressing the complexities of today's environment. Participants will gain insights into the factors that influence workplace communication, understand why misunderstandings happen, and learn actionable steps to improve interactions with colleagues. Examples of common miscommunications and strategies for resolving them will be explored to help participants foster better communication and collaboration.

Session Outcomes:
Participants will:
 - Identify the components of the basic communication model.
 - Recognize at least three factors that challenge clear workplace communication.
 - Outline potential actions to improve communication with colleagues.
