Event Overview
Today’s students expect the same mobile experience in their college life that they have in their personal lives. Apple offers Student ID in Apple Wallet, so college students can enjoy the ease and convenience of a student ID on iPhone and Apple Watch to access residence halls, make purchases, and more.

The mobile Student ID is not just more convenient; it delivers a contactless experience which makes the environment safer and more secure.

This session will provide an overview of the program, details on the technology, and an overview of the experience of moving to mobile IDs at the University of Vermont.

Intended Audience:
Staff with a focus on the student experience, mobility, IT staff, card offices, and service centers that leverage student IDs (eg. housing, dining, bookstore, etc).

Learning Objectives:
Learn about Cross-platform Mobile Student ID, NFC, Implementation overview, and Student usage & feedback
