Based in Austin, Texas, he consults with education institutions throughout the United States to develop mobility strategies that enhance education. He has a wide range of technical expertise that, combined with an understanding of curriculum, uniquely positions him to assist customers who are integrating technology into teaching and learning.
 

 

Mark McKenna
Director, CATcard Service Center, University of Vermont\

Mark McKenna is the Director of the CATcard Service Center at the University of Vermont.  He and his team have spent the last 25 years growing the office from a handful of vending and point-of-sale devices to a system comprised of over 3000 locations.  They also provide card-based services to 3 other higher education institutions, the City of Burlington and the Burlington School District.  Through Mark’s leadership, the CATcard office pioneers leading edge technologies: biometric, contactless and web-based solutions to name a few.  Most recently the team moved to a “card-less” digital mobile credential using the Apple Wallet.
