Event Overview

With both attack vectors and data breaches on the rise, securing your campus is a difficult task. Whether you have a complete or partial security posture, or very little security in place, this workshop will discuss best practices. Hear about all aspects of security, including policy, user education, network security and forensics. We will also discuss the process of handling a data breach; to insure you have the correct tools in your toolbox should your campus experience a breach. Ask the security experts additional questions during the open Q&A session.

Session Outcomes:
• Learn the specific security policies your institution should have in place and why
• Learn different mechanisms to promote awareness on your campus
• Learn best practices in network security
• Learn the basics of forensics and what you should do if you have a data breach
