Speaker: Tim LaGrant

Tim LaGrant, the Technical Director for Becker College, has been in the IT industry for over 20 years. He has 9 years of experience in the aerospace manufacturing sector, and two years of experience working in Higher Education. His primary function as Technical Director is to oversee network operations and security, which includes the implementation & maintenance of servers, storage and network equipment along with day-to-day operations of the technology across multiple campuses.


Speaker: Sherry Horeanopoulos

Sherry Horeanopoulos is the Information Security Officer for Fitchburg State University. She has a CISA certification from ISACA and is a founding member of the Information Security Council for Higher Ed in Massachusetts. In her IT life 12 years prior to that, she was a Systems Administrator and Help Desk Manager at the University. Having a broad knowledge of both the technical systems and the user services sides of technology have proven invaluable to the performance of security-related initiatives at Fitchburg State. As an ISO, she keeps track of all services employed on her campus for protecting both electronic and manages a Security Department of 2.


Speaker: Patty Patria

Patty Patria is the Chief Information Officer at Becker College. She has more than 15 years of experience in the IT industry, with more than 10 in higher education. She is responsible for providing strategic leadership in long-term and short-term planning, managing administrative and academic technology, overseeing the management of computer networks, servers, and personal computers, and ensuring compliance with information security laws.

Patty holds a Masters in Business Administration from Suffolk University. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).


Speaker: Greg Rodenhiser

Greg Rodenhiser is an Information Security Analyst at Holy Cross. He has earned his SANS GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) certification. Prior to assuming this role, Greg was the Unix Systems Administrator at College of the Holy Cross for 14 years.
