Event Overview
Have you ever created an online course from scratch or conducted a program review and weren’t quite sure where to start in quantifying your assignments? Have you assessed your courses for credit hour analysis for accreditation purposes? This session will put a few courses in context to show how a course designer and faculty member worked collaboratively to assess the amount of time students would be spending each week.

We will talk through our process of analyzing course materials, assignments, and assigned readings, and we will discuss the strategies used to ensure the course was uniform in its division of time. An instrument will be demonstrated and shared for attendees to apply while conducting their own credit hour analysis in the future.

We welcome anyone that is curious about how to assess the weekly breakdown of their courses.

Session Outcomes:
- Apply credit hour analysis to current and future course designs
- Analyze assignments, resources, and required readings according to specified criteria
