Jeremy Anderson

Jeremy Anderson is the Vice President of Learning Innovation, Analytics, and Technology at Bay Path University where he creates and executes a vision for coupling digital transformation and data-informed decision-making. He also is engaged in building an incremental credentialing strategy to meet workforce needs and to create alternative paths to good-paying jobs. Prior to this role, he advanced business intelligence, data governance, and original research pertaining to student success while serving as the inaugural Associate Vice Chancellor of Strategic Analytics at Dallas College. Jeremy has published and presented nationally on applied analytics and teaching and learning innovations. He earned his EdD in interdisciplinary leadership from Creighton University and holds a bachelor’s in history education and a master’s in educational technology.

Krzytina Filep

Krisztina Filep is the Director of Operational Analytics in University Analytics and Institutional Research (UAIR) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She co-leads the campus’ large-scale analytics and now data warehouse projects with IT. She is involved in leveraging this platform for strategic planning and is also responsible for traditional Institutional Research functions including compliance reporting and ad hoc requests. Her goal is to get people the data they need in a way they can understand so they can make data-informed decisions. She is actively involved in North East AIR and is the program chair for the 2024 conference. Krisztina holds a MS in Statistics and prior to working in higher education, was a mathematical survey statistician at Statistics Canada.



Becky Frieden

Becky Frieden is the Senior Director of Enterprise Applications and Decision Support Systems at New York Institute of Technology, where she leads a team of developers, project managers, business and data analysts, and data architects. As a member of the senior IT leadership team, Becky focuses primarily on the management and accessibility of enterprise data to enhance the decision-making power of university officials, and the efficacy of the user experience. Prior to her current role at NYIT, she was a Director of Administrative Information Services at Clark University in Worcester, MA.  Becky has a BS in Finance from Boston College and an MBA from Clark University.  She is also an alumnus of the Center for Creative Leadership’s Leadership Development Program (LDP) and has completed several graduate-level courses at Babson College. In addition to her administrative role at NYIT, Becky has held a faculty role in the MBA and MSBA programs at Clark University and serves on the curriculum committee for the MS in Business Analytics program. Becky’s work in IT coupled with her passion for education has also led to many activities that focus on exposing young women to careers in IT or the IT industry.
 

Catherine Lloyd
Cathy has over 30 years of experience building and leading high-performing teams in higher education process and systems innovation, particularly focused on financial analysis, data management, and analytics in public higher education. With 21+ years as internal consultant/employee at UCSF, Harvard,
UC Berkeley, and UW-Madison, most recently as Chief Data Officer, her career also includes 4+ years with Huron Consulting, where she led incentive-based budget model development, chart of accounts and analytics assessments/roadmaps, and Hyperion/Adaptive budget system implementations. As part
of her career development, she developed a passion for leveraging storytelling and play to spark the creative work of her teams. Whimsy@Work LLC expands her training and experience in organizational development and change (a focus of her PMP certification) to include 1:1 executive coaching for clients.

 

Rob Mirabile

Rob Mirabile brings more than two decades of experience to client engagements and a proven track record of increasing enrollment and revenue across market segments.  Rob served as the VP for Enrollment Management at Assumption University, where he was responsible for undergraduate and graduate admissions, financial aid, enrollment marketing, enrollment operations, and athletics.  As VP for Enrollment at Beloit College, Rob led the creation of a multi-year strategic enrollment management plan built on input from faculty, staff, students, alumni, and board members and endorsed by the college’s governing bodies; he also led the team responsible for enrolling Beloit’s largest first-year class since 1975.  Rob has helped public and private institutions develop marketing plans, optimize price increases, and determine student satisfaction and retention drivers. Rob holds master’s and doctoral degrees in social psychology from Princeton University, a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Bates College, and a certificate in enrollment management leadership from the University of Southern California.

 

Bill Mortimer

Bill Mortimer is an enrollment management leader with recent posts as Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management at Assumption University and Director of Enrollment at Beloit College.  Bill has built data and analytics teams focused on predictive modeling, reporting, and financial aid leveraging, led admissions departments, oversaw complex enrollment operations, and developed full cycle marketing strategies ranging from search to yield.  The Chronicle of Higher Education has recognized Bill’s expertise in Customer Resource Management (CRM) tools and he has been presented at numerous higher education conferences about his innovative work.  Prior to his most recent appointments, Bill worked in admissions at Marlboro College where serving a student body of fewer than 400 students instilled in him the importance of working collaboratively and broadly with faculty and staff across institutions.  Bill is passionate about the potential for higher education to serve as an engine for social good and economic growth. He received his Bachelor of Arts in sociology, with honors, from Bates College.

 

Edlira Stefani

Edlira is a driven and passionate individual with a deep interest in data, the future of data, and artificial intelligence. She believes in the transformative power of data to drive decision-making, innovation, and growth. As a results-oriented executive, Edlira has over twenty years of experience in the technology field. She has developed and managed collaborative strategies and roadmaps for enterprise data modernization, including data governance, integrity, security, compliance, and change management strategies for processes, procedures, practices, and policies. Edlira is committed to improving the user experience in making data-driven decisions and helping organizations achieve their strategic objectives. With excellent communication and strong analytical and interpersonal skills, she excels in solving highly complex data and related technical domain issues.

Edlira is passionate about teaching and sharing her knowledge. She is an adjunct faculty at Clark University, where she teaches Data Engineering.

Currently, Edlira serves as the Executive Director of Data Engineering Operations at Bentley University, where she leads a team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust data ecosystem architecture. Her extensive enterprise reporting experience has been critical in establishing a data-driven culture at the University that aligns with its strategic goals.

Edlira was the Associate Director of Application Data Management at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) before joining Bentley University. During her tenure, she oversaw the Data Management Program, one of four Enterprise Transformation workstreams. In addition, as the co-chair of the Information Governance Council, she guided the leadership team in formulating and implementing a data governance strategy and policies. As the Associate Director of Analytics at WPI, she established a data analytics strategy that resulted in the implementation of Tableau at an enterprise level.

In addition to her professional achievements, Edlira is an active member of the NERCOMP Program Committee, contributing to various activities and presenting at NERCOMP Annual Conferences. She also serves on the EDUCAUSE Data Governance Group Steering Committee.

Edlira is highly motivated to help others understand the value of data. She is committed to sharing her knowledge and expertise to help people leverage data to achieve their goals. With her excellent communication skills and strong technical background, Edlira excels in bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, making data accessible and actionable for everyone. She is constantly exploring new technologies and techniques to improve data analysis and visualization, and she is excited about the endless possibilities in data science.
