We will discuss how the current laws, standards for accessibility and WCAG guidelines intersect and impact any Electronic Information Technology (EIT) purchased or used on a college campus.

Learn what tools to use to test the accessibility of an EIT product (demo/ hands-on).

Speaker: Kirsten Behling, Director of Student Accessibility Services at Tufts University

What trainings have been effective? How do you get faculty to the table? We will discuss this as a large group before breaking into smaller groups to discuss potential challenges and solutions with commonly used course content (Word, PDF, Excel, Websites, Audio/videos, Publisher-generated material.)

Creating a culture of access at your institution. We will take a look at how other institutions have infused access into their campus culture. We also want to celebrate your early successes with an opportunity to share what has worked and to begin to think about guided next steps.
