Event Overview
Today higher education professionals are optimizing student agency by integrating performance support learning tools effectively into teaching and learning environments. These tools increase student agency which underpins competencies needed for student success. The potential of increasing student agency, by complementing formal learning experiences, is both valuable and measurable. The influence of using digitally-mediated performance support tools like interactive videos, and collaborative annotation, often facilitates knowledge sharing, application, and social-network collaboration.

This webinar will include demonstrations of performance support tools. Examples to include: H5P- video responsive content, Visia- optimizing video spaced learning, Flipgrid- a video-based communication tool, Thing-Link / Vimeo-Immersive learning experiences, Sogosurvey online data surveys, and Hypothes.is, an open source collaborative annotation tool.

We will also discuss research on the importance of students having access to their performance-based assessment data.

Session Outcomes:
- Identify at least five performance support tools (PST) for formative assessments /summative assessments.
- Using a rubric, review and evaluate learning analytics dashboard /metric areas of performance support tools.
- Create a performance support tool resource checklist as a reference-resource guide.
