Event Overview
Digital escape rooms are an engaging and immersive way to promote problem-solving, collaboration, and critical thinking in educational settings. This session will explore how to design inclusive digital escape rooms aligned with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles and International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards. Participants will learn how to use AI tools as creative collaborators and discover free platforms to build escape rooms that support diverse learners. A real-world example focused on cybersecurity will demonstrate how these experiences can foster digital citizenship, creativity, and communication.

Session Outcomes:
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
 - Explain how digital escape rooms support student engagement, critical thinking, and problem-solving aligned with the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards.
 - Identify ways to integrate Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles into escape room design to create inclusive and accessible experiences.
 - Use AI tools and free digital platforms to co-create an engaging escape room tailored to specific learning goals, using a cybersecurity example as a model.
