Event Overview
It is time to hit refresh on that online course. You have made tweaks along the way but have you considered substantially changing the course? How would you go about it? This day-long workshop will help you find clear and specific methods for revamping your online course to give it more kick.
The workshop will help faculty to:
• Evaluate the levels of choice within the course and how that can enhance student learning and engagement.
• Improve the human elements of online courses.
• Develop richer content for online courses and make use of open content for online learning.
• Utilize universal design in order to improve the experiences of all students.
Each session will provide an opportunity for participants to hear about best practices, share their own experiences, and start developing materials for redesigning their courses.
