Bryan Alexander
Bryan is a futurist specializing in higher education and technology. An internationally sought sought after speaker, he consults with universities, colleges, businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies in the United States and abroad. He created the multimedia Future of Education Observatory, including the Future Trends Forum videoconference and the Future Trends in Technology and Education report. Bryan publishes widely, including books like The New Digital Storytelling (Praeger, second edition) and Gearing Up for Learning Beyond K–12 (Solution Tree). His next title, Transforming the University in the Twenty-First Century: The Next Generation of Higher Education is forthcoming from Johns Hopkins University Press in 2019. 

A former English literature faculty member, he has also served as an emerging technology director for a liberal education nonprofit, the National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education. He completed his English language and literature PhD at the University of Michigan in 1997, with a dissertation on doppelgangers in Romantic-era fiction and poetry.
