Event Overview
Is sustainability and equity important to you? If so, you want to learn more about the United Nations (UN) Global Goals and the framework they provide for identifying societal fault lines. Over the past two years and with the recent Covid-19 pandemic, the world is emerging very unevenly. It is almost becoming a cliché to point out how severely the pandemic has exacerbated inequities.

Throughout the pandemic, libraries have demonstrated that they are indispensable not only as a community resource but also to economic, educational, and sustainable recovery.

The comprehensive nature of the Global Goals highlights the interdependence of communities at all spatial scales and the often complicated relationships among sectors.

Educators of all kinds should join us to study the Global Goals and help your students and communities to better plan for a recovery that can build resilience and stronger communities!

Learning Outcomes:

- Learn about the origins and structure of the U.N. Global Goals, which are increasingly used in teaching at all levels.
 - Explore how to connect the UN Sustainability goals to their own teaching and understanding of their respective disciplines.
