Event Overview
Some students bemoan "group work"; doubly so in the online environment. Crafting a good online group work or project requires a mixture of direct and indirect nudges to help students determine what they plan on doing and how they can go about it in a successful manner.  This workshop identifies different strategies for group work and projects along with useful considerations to employ when developing and deploying them in an online course.  Participants will also have an opportunity to share what has worked for them successfully.

Learning Objectives
  - Articulate different strategies to enhance online group work.
  - Identify key components of structuring substantial group projects online.
  - Develop a plan for a successful online group assignment.
