Event Overview
Often IT departments are not closely aligned with their purchasing counterparts on campus. There are many reasons for this including the often highly technical nature of IT acquisitions. However skilled purchasing professionals can leverage considerable savings possibly even beyond what solid IT negotiators are able to do. In this webinar, two purchasing pros will share their experience developing a strategic relationship with their IT department. Mutual trust is a key ingredient in this process. When it works, the financial benefits for the institution can be considerable. The expertise of the purchaser offers support as a service, which results in further potential savings and added value to the relationship.
