Mark Henderson, Vice Chancellor and Chief Information Officer, University of Pittsburgh

Mark D. Henderson, vice chancellor, and chief information officer at the University of Pittsburgh, has more than 30 years of information technology experience in both higher education and the private sector. Prior to joining Pitt in 2019, he held leadership positions at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Case Western Reserve University, the University of Maryland, and the University of Cincinnati. Corporate appointments include Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Procter & Gamble and General Electric Co. Henderson serves on the board of directors for the Keystone Initiative for Network Based Education and Research (KINBER), Meta Mesh Community Internet Solutions, and the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, with a concentration in information systems, at Xavier University in Cincinnati.

 

Jane Livingston, Vice President for Information Technology and CIO, University of Notre Dame

Jane Livingston has more than 20 years of leadership success in supporting all aspects of technology in higher education. She currently serves as the Vice President and CIO at the University of Notre Dame.  She is passionate about growing and fostering strong, diverse teams that innovate in complex, matrixed environments. She is focused on securing technical resources, digital transformation, workforce development, and sustaining operational excellence.

Previously Jane served as CIO at Florida State University. Before FSU, Jane served in multiple leadership positions at Yale University Information Technology Services and was awarded the 2017 Linda Lorimer Award for distinguished service.

Jane has a Bachelor of Arts from Wichita State University and a Master of Science in Information Science from Syracuse University.

 

Stan Waddell

Stan Waddell, a senior information technology leader, serves as Vice President for Information Technology and CIO and serves as a member of the Executive Management Team. In this role, Dr. Waddell provides vision, leadership, and management to CMU.

Prior to joining CMU, Waddell worked at the University of New Hampshire as the Associate Vice President for Information Technology and CIO. Waddell is also a veteran of the US Navy.

Waddell obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Old Dominion University, a Master of Science from the University of Texas at Dallas, and a Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University.
