Keith W. ‘Mac’ McIntosh
Keith is Vice President for Information Services and CIO for the University of Richmond, where he is responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic development of the university’s technology and information vision. Mac has over 30 years of IT and executive experience in higher education and the military. He served previously as Associate Vice President and CIO at Ithaca College and Vice Chancellor for IT and CIO at Pima County Community College District, and held progressive leadership and management positions during his distinguished 24.5-year service in the United States Air Force.

Mac is a member and former chair of the Advisory Board for the Center for Higher Education Chief Information Officer Studies (CHECS). He is a board member for the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) and the Leadership Board for CIOs. McIntosh holds an MBA with honors from Trident University International and a BS in management information systems from Bellevue University. He completed the Center for Creative Leadership program in 2016, and was a 2012 Leading Change Institute Fellow. He completed the EDUCAUSE Institute Leadership Program and CIO Executive Council (CEC) Pathways Leadership Development Program. Mac has written for EDUCAUSE Review and Business Officer. He is a diversity, equity, and inclusion advocate, and is passionate about developing aspiring IT leaders. He served as an EDUCAUSE Institute Management Program Faculty and received the inaugural EDUCAUSE Rising Star Award in 2011. He is a sought-after speaker who has delivered numerous conference keynotes.


Sharon Pitt
Sharon serves as Vice President for Information Technologies and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the University of Delaware (UD). As UD’s CIO, she advances the University’s educational, research, and economic missions by delivering innovative, efficient, and integrated information technology services to students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and other constituencies.

Prior to UD, Sharon served as chief information officer and associate vice president of Information Technology Services at Binghamton University in New York. Her tenure there included the creation of the university’s first makerspace, implementation of a mobile-friendly user experience portal and development of an information technology strategic plan for the university with broad input from faculty, students and staff.

Previously, Sharon held several positions at George Mason University, including deputy chief information officer, executive director of enterprise infrastructure, executive director of instructional technology and executive director of 4-VA (a consortium of George Mason, James Madison, Old Dominion, Virginia Tech and the University of Virginia). She has also held posts at North Carolina State University, James Madison University and Virginia Tech.

Active in numerous professional committee and associations, Sharon currently serves as co-chair of EDUCAUSE’s Higher Education Information Security Council (HEISC) and is a board member of NYSERNet, the New York State Education and Research Network. She has made presentations at several national professional meetings and is the author or coauthor of articles in CIOReview, EDUCAUSE Review and the International Journal of Cloud Computing.

Sharon earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in architecture at Virginia Tech.


Jennifer Sparrow
As Senior Director for Teaching and Learning with Technology, Jennifer leads a dynamic team of more than ninety-five learning innovators. She champions for the following strategic goals: innovation in teaching and learning with technology, strategic opportunities for faculty development, the advancement of flexible, active learning spaces, research in the scholarship of technology-enhanced teaching and learning, and inspiring excellence in teaching and learning with technology at Penn State and beyond.

Sparrow’s current projects and service include: Unizin Board of Directors, Unizin Teaching and Learning committee, developing a plan for the next generation computer lab, and exploring the intersection of learning spaces, pedagogy, technology, and learners.

She received her bachelor’s from Smith College, a master’s from Florida Gulf Coast University, and a doctorate from the University of Central Florida. Sparrow is the winner of the 2013 EDUCAUSE Rising Star Award.
