James Monek

James Monek is currently the Director of Technology Infrastructure and Operations at Lehigh University. Teams under his leadership are responsible for campus cyberinfrastructure, including the network, telecommunications, data centers, cloud services, systems, applications, operations and AI. James has over 30 years of experience and leadership in Information Technology, strategic planning, growing organizations, driving change by building successful teams, and implementing leading-edge solutions. His focus is on providing technology, infrastructure, and collaborative solutions to support and foster innovation in higher education. James has a B.S. from the University of Dayton and an MBA from Saint Joseph's University. Certifications include AWS Solutions Architect and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
