Event Overview
Does your institution offer online learning? Are you Faculty and/or an instructional designer who needs to stay current with the latest trends in online education and learn the latest strategies for building courses that are highly engaging in order to help their students be successful? If so, you’ll want to ensure it’s not just “traditional” online education but truly an engaging experience for all!  

Join us for this workshop which will show you how to build content that your students will love – highly engaging, mobile-friendly, and allow them to interact with course content in new ways. During this workshop, you will learn a variety of strategies and opportunities to interact, discuss strategies, and learn from one another ways to create and build an engaging online learning experience.

Session Outcomes:
- Apply best practices to facilitate and create engaging online discussions
- Create synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities within the same course
- Enable student voice using Web 2.0 tools like voice threads and vlogs/blogs
