How Research-Based Mindfulness Apps Can Increase Resilience in University Students - Webinar

Her professional experiences most recently include her higher education employment for twelve years, as a Library-Technology Specialist, Disability Liaison, at Fairfield University in Connecticut. Currently, as a Learner Experience Designer-Facilitator, she has facilitated innovative technology prototypes and pilots including the Google Glass for Autism device, by Brain Power, neuroscientist, and CEO Dr. Ned Sahin, in the Fairfield Public Schools in Connecticut. Her professional outreach includes a higher education communications pilot, in immersive 360-VR, at the University of New Haven in Connecticut. In addition to this, she has written and presented numerous NERCOMP webinars and has been a Poster Presenter at the Annual NERCOMP Conference in Rhode Island. This October, she participated on the expert panel at the Connecticut Association of School Librarians, CECA/CASL 2018 conference, “Designing Immersive 360-VR Experiences in Education”. She is a featured Learning Experience Design Learner Coach, with NOVO ED online. This year she has also completed Instructional Design, e-Learning from the University of Washington, Mindfulness Education, from Mindful Schools, and MBSR training from Yale University. She is a recognized participant-member of the online, weekly Future Trends Forum, hosted by internationally recognized educator and futurist, Dr. Bryan Alexander.
