Moonami and NERCOMP Partnership - Webinar

Kellly Dempsey
Kelly is Moonami’s Client Solutions Architect who is passionate about the company and what she does.  She came to Moonami from Colgate University and is thrilled to join the team after a 20 year career as an instructional designer, LMS admin and K-12 teacher. After obtaining an M.Ed. from Columbia University she received an advanced degree in instructional design from U. Wisc. sparking her interest in creating engaging eLearning experiences. Kelly’s focus is working with higher Education institutions in the U.S.  Her favorite aspects of the Moodle are the flexibility of the open-source platform and ability to draw out data and insights from Moodle. She currently resides in Upstate New York with her husband.


John DeFonzo
John is Moonami’s Director of Sales with over 20 years in the EdTech learning platforms industry. Leveraging his background in the EdTech world he’s in a unique position at Moonami, having guided countless HigherEd, K-12 and government organizations through the implementation of their learning platforms. He enjoys working with V.P.’s,  CIO's, EdTech Directors, Instructional Designers or with anyone who has the responsibility of implementing learning technologies within their organization.  John is a graduate of Babson College and resides in Medford, MA with his wife Michelle and their 3 sons.


Lisa Melohusky
Lisa is the Online Learning Coordinator for SUNY Fredonia. She has held this role for the past 13 years. Prior to that Lisa was a teacher at the Nardin Academy in Buffalo, NY. She holds an M.S. in Instructional design from Central Connecticut State University. Lisa led the recent migration of their Moodle system from OpenLMS to Moonami.
