Phil Catanzano
Phil Catanzano advises and represents higher education institutions involved in investigations or compliance reviews with federal regulators from the U.S. Department of Education and U.S. Department of Justice, among others.  Phil’s practice also focuses on advising clients and providing tailored training regarding federal compliance standards in many areas, including those areas impacting individuals with disabilities, including accommodations, physical accessibility, and digital accessibility.  Phil also teaches higher education law at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education and, using this experience, he frequently shares with audiences the practical challenges and benefits of creating an accessible learning  Ulenvironment.

Brenda Ulrich is an intellectual property lawyer who advises clients on copyright and trademark issues, with a special focus on higher education and publishing-related matters.  Brenda focuses on bringing creative solutions to the problems of creative people and organizations, including colleges and universities, authors, educational and cultural entities, and retailers of consumer goods.  She advises her clients on copyright and trademark questions, selecting and managing their trademark and copyright portfolios, negotiating and interpreting software, publishing, licensing and consulting agreements, and drafting and revising intellectual property policies.
