Moderator: Pat Coogan
Pat Coogan a Project Manager in the Educational Technologies office at Dartmouth College. In her role she has participated in several large scale initiatives including the transition to a new learning management system, rollout of a data back-up and recovery service, and introducing CRM tools to teams in her division. Prior to coming to Dartmouth Pat was an academic affairs administrator responsible for curricular development and evaluation and oversaw the preparation of several large scale NEASC accreditation reports. She has led both online and F2F courses in management. She received her MBA degree from Boston College and MS degree from Syracuse University and is ITIL Foundations certified. Moderator: Chrissa Lindahl
Chrissa is a research and instruction librarian and academic technologist at Mount Holyoke College. She supports research and curricular technology for the Music, Dance and PE/Athletics departments. A former music teacher, Chrissa specializes in committee work in the areas of reference services and information literacy instruction. As a manager in the Research and Instruction Department of Library, Information, and Technology Services at Mount Holyoke, she has managed small and medium scale library projects. She has received training in both PMI and Scrum project management methodologies.
Moderator: Sarah Oelker
Sarah Oelker is a librarian and instructional technologist in LITS, the hybrid Library/IT organization at Mount Holyoke College. Sarah delivers research instruction, research support, and instructional technology consulting to students and faculty in a number of science departments as a LITS Liaison and part of the Research & Instructional Support team. Sarah led faculty outreach and training for the campus transition to Moodle, organized an initiative to increase the use of clickers in courses across the curriculum, and is currently leading a group reassessing campus audience response needs for the future. Sarah is also involved in the campus makerspace and volunteers with Hour of Code. Moderator: Susan Zaslaw
Susan Zaslaw is the Director of the ITS Project & Portfolio Management Office in the Information Technology Services division at Dartmouth College, which is located in Hanover, New Hampshire. She obtained her PMP® certification in 2011, is ITIL® Foundations certified, and has been a practicing project manager at Dartmouth for over ten years. She received her BA degree from Norwich University in Vermont. Ms. Zaslaw specializes in enterprise IT projects and has managed several large-scale initiatives at Dartmouth such as a campus-wide email system implementation and more recently, the replacement of Dartmouth’s learning management system. She has been active in promoting effective project management practices within higher education through conference presentations and professional development workshops. Before becoming a project manager, Ms. Zaslaw managed a team of business analysts in Dartmouth’s Administrative Computing department. Prior to Dartmouth, she worked in the banking industry for twelve years, in the San Diego area where she grew up. Ms. Zaslaw now lives with her husband and two youngest children in Hanover, New Hampshire, where she enjoys gardening, cooking and a variety of outdoor activities.
