Spaces That Inspire: Redesigning Libraries (and other spaces) for Modern Learning and Technology - Webinar

Kristin L. Strohmeyer

Kristin is the Research and Community Engagement Librarian at Hamilton College. She is the departmental liaison for humanities departments and history, providing instruction and research assistance to those faculty and students. She is actively involved in instruction and outreach to the college campus and beyond. Kristin coordinates most of the outgoing messaging from LITS to the College campus. She is a past-president and communication chair of the Eastern New York Chapter of ACRL, and has been an active member in the American Library Association's Library Instruction Roundtable. 


Forrest Warner

Forrest is an Instructional Designer, Digital Innovation, Hamilton College. Forrest works with faculty, students, & staff to develop innovative ways to use technology in the classroom. He provides expert guidance on the use of a variety of ed-tech, including 3D printing, drones, audio & video production, & WordPress. He also helps oversee daily operations of Hamilton's Makerspace, a collaborative space where students can explore their creativity & build their own projects. He also provides support to the community on how to use the makerspace's equipment and tools. He is committed to making the makerspace a welcoming & inclusive space for all, regardless of their background or experience. 


Alexandra Wohnsen

Alexandra is the Research Librarian for Digital Initiatives and Experiential Learning at Hamilton College. Alex leads information fluency instruction to Hamilton's First Year Course Program and provides leadership in expanding, enhancing and assessing the delivery of library and technology instruction to students, incorporating best practices of instructional design. As part of a combined team of librarians, educational technologists, and instructional designers, she leads the continuous improvement of the team’s instructional programs and practices. Alex collaborates closely with her educational technologist + instructional designer colleagues, as well as the leaders of campus academic resource centers to support students' information fluency across the curricula and beyond higher education.
