Kristy Behan
Kristy is Director of Admissions Operations at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). She has a Bachelors degree in Developmental Psychology from Roger Williams University and a Masters degree in Higher Education Administration from Drexel University.  She has 15 years of experience working in college admissions – both in counseling/recruiting and managing behind-the-scenes operations - at schools ranging from liberal arts to business to specialty art and design. She is a Slate Captain and led the implementation along with a colleague beginning in March of 2016 and going live with the first module (Events) one month later in April. With the help of a super admissions team, she phased-out paper applications and built a robust and efficient Slate instance that is constantly improving. When she’s not Slating, she can be found spending time with her wife and 2.5 year old twin daughters, Rory and Gannon. 


Christopher Holsten
Chris is currently a Senior Institutional Research Analyst at Brandeis University and has been working at Brandeis for over 13 years. Chris has extensive knowledge of graduate and undergraduate admissions and enrollment management trends, and architects Brandeis' enrollment management models. Along with implementing a University-wide data warehouse for undergraduate and graduate admissions data, Chris is currently working on new and innovative uses for Slate at Brandeis and working to bring admissions business processes in line across the University.  


Kim Lachut
Kim has been with the UConn School of Business since 2011 where she started as a program coordinator for the Full-time MBA program. In 2013 she transitioned to the role of overseeing the School’s CRM/application system.  In this position her primary responsibility was to manage and train the School of Business staff  on their CRM and application system for its part-time, executive and full-time MBA, Masters, certificate and PhD programs. In the last year, in partnership with the UConn Graduate School, she was a part of the University’s Slate implementation team. She is a 1990 graduate of the University of Connecticut with a degree in Sports Management/Marketing.

Jessica Meers

Jess has worked in technology for over 15 years. As a Lead Applications Specialist at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), she assists departments in reaching their technology goals by providing IT project management and implementation services. She provides support to the various departments, (Admissions, Continuing Education, Global Partners) on campus utilizing the Slate platform.  Prior to joining the RISD team, she spent 10 years as the IT Applications Manager in health care, managing ancillary systems and their integrations.  In 2018, she received the RISD Leadership Excellence award.


Melissa Ratliff
Melissa is an experienced graduate admissions professional with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. She currently serves as the Director of Graduate Admission at Stonehill College in Easton, Mass. Prior to joining Stonehill, Melissa worked at Lesley University serving in various roles during her tenure there which lasted over a decade. Melissa holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Lesley and a BA in English Literature from Northeastern University.

 

Brie Sheehan
Brie is the Associate Director of Admissions Operations at Brandeis International Business School, where she manages Slate for graduate admissions. Brie oversees the lifecycle of all incoming applications including processing, releasing decisions, collaborating with the International Students and Scholars Office, and executing enrollment procedures. She received her master’s degree in higher education administration and bachelor’s degree in social studies education from Boston University.
