Aligning Today’s Campus IT and Libraries For Our Students as Stakeholders - a Leadership Ecosystem Webinar

Erin DeSilva
Erin DeSilva is the Associate Provost, Digital and Online Learning at Dartmouth College. She works with a team of talented learning designers and educational technologists to support faculty in their course design as well as to manage the technology that helps facilitate student learning. Prior to joining Dartmouth in 2015, Erin worked as an Instructional Designer at Brown University and an Educational Technologist at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where her responsibilities included training and supporting faculty, designing and building courses, and other front-end infrastructure support. Erin has been involved in NERCOMP since 2009, facilitating SIG/Professional Development Opportunities and serving on the conference Program Committee, where she is currently vice-chair of the 2021 Annual Conference. She has led NERCOMP sessions on learning management systems, collaborative writing, assessment technologies, library/IT collaboration, and accessibility, among other topics. Erin is also a beneficiary of NERCOMP’s member services, and a strong believer in NERCOMP’s inspirational ability to lift up individuals while excelling in the innovation and important maintenance of the consortium.
Erin earned her Bachelor’s degree at Simmons College and her Master’s degree in Educational Media at Boston University. She lives in Norwich, VT, with her husband Jerry and children Ben and Josie. She owes so much to NERCOMP that she is thrilled to chair the 2022 Annual Conference and to serve on the Board.

Becky Frieden
Becky Frieden is the Senior Director of Enterprise Applications and Decision Support Systems at New York Institute of Technology, where she leads a team of developers, project managers, business and data analysts, and data architects. As a member of the senior IT leadership team, Becky focuses primarily on the management and accessibility of enterprise data to enhance the decision-making power of university officials, and the efficacy of the user experience. To accomplish this work, Becky works closely with both internal and external stakeholders of all contact levels of the institution. Becky takes great pride in the trust-based relationships she has established within her institution, with colleagues at other institutions, and with her vendor partners. She has led many cross-functional, enterprise-level projects that have improved the value and efficiency of many administrative processes. Prior to her current role at NYIT, she was a Director of Administrative Information Services at Clark University in Worcester, MA.
Becky deeply values and is an active leader in several professional organizations. Becky is a NERCOMP Managers Series alumnus, and is currently serving on the NERCOMP Market Research Task Force. She has also served on the Ellucian Preferred Name Task Force; the Ellucian Committee on Algorithmic Packaging for Banner; and the Massachusetts Education Finance Authority (MEFA)’s Advisory Board. As an active member of the Northeast Directors of Administrative Computing (NEDAC) and New England Banner Users’ group (NEBUG). Becky has organized and presented at several regional conferences including a NEDAC conference on the future of ERPs; and several of the NEBUG annual meetings. She is also active with several of NERCOMP’s Communities of Practice, and the Society of Information Managers (SIM) Boston chapter. Becky enjoys seeing her staff grow professionally - as such, she has sent her team to many NERCOMP professional development opportunities including the New Horizons PMP course.
Becky has a BS in Finance from Boston College and an MBA from Clark University. She is also an alumnus of the Center for Creative Leadership’s Leadership Development Program (LDP) and has completed several graduate-level courses at Babson College. In addition to her administrative role at NYIT, she is also an active professor in the MBA and MSBA programs at Clark University and serves on the curriculum committee for the MS in Business Analytics program. Becky’s work in IT coupled with her passion for education has also led to many activities that focus on exposing young women to careers in IT or the IT industry.

Kari Jo Grant, MSEd
Kari Jo Grant has been the Manager of Student Employment at Dartmouth College for 13 years, overseeing opportunities that connect students with valuable work experiences on and off campus while ensuring compliance with federal and state laws as well as campus policies. With a deep passion for student development and success, Kari Jo has played a key role in supporting students in gaining meaningful employment while pursuing their academic goals.

Kori Ludwig
Kori Ludwig is a PeopleSoft User Experience (UX) consultant with Sierra-Cedar, where she helps make student-facing systems easier to use and less stressful for students. She’s worked with colleges and universities across the country to improve digital journeys and bring technology in line with modern student expectations. Kori lives in Austin, Texas, with her two golden retrievers, who remind her daily that the best user experiences always come with extra (extra) treats.


Cady Rancourt
Cady Rancourt is a first-year graduate student and Rackham Merit Fellow at the University of Michigan, pursuing a master of arts in higher education with a concentration in institutional research. As an aspiring doctoral student, her research interests feature the economics of higher education and pervasive neuromyths in college teaching and learning. Before moving to Ann Arbor, she worked at Princeton University for one year as an Academic Affairs Program Associate in the Office of the Provost. Her chief responsibilities there were to support senior leadership committees and to provide "on-call" data analysis and visualization regarding the university's academic enterprise. There, she was named a Nassau Fellow for her dedication to and promise for a successful career in higher education. Before Princeton, Cady graduated from Dartmouth College with high honors and her bachelor's in Educational Studies. During her time at Dartmouth, she became invested in higher education as a career path and field of scholarship. Consequently, she committed much of her time to research and work related to improving undergraduate education.
