Event Overview

BYOD, Metrics, ITSM, Ticketing Systems, student workers, Vendor Relations, remote desktop tools, are just some of the issues Help desk staff are currently tackling at their schools.

This workshop will be an open session on topics that Support Services Managers and Technicians can attend to exchange best practices or ask for ideas and help. This reverse round table is a chance for the audience to make the agenda and hear what fellow IT colleagues are doing.

A poll will go out to those registered to pick the top categories (i.e. Ticketing Systems, Helpdesk Metrics, etc.) and the panel of Service Desk Directors and mangers will help lead the conversation and record what others are doing and help moderate the discussions and keep the group focused. At the goal at the end of this session is that attendees would be to come back with some success stories that they could implement at their schools. In addition this would be a great chance to network with other local schools and fellow IT professionals.
