Event Overview
It's time to recreate our libraries to reach beyond our campus and into our communities! Just as the landscape in academia is ever-evolving, so must we craft a fresh approach for our libraries to cater to our diverse student population while not losing the important tradition and research of our classic institutional library. 

Representatives from nontraditional higher education institutions invite you to join them in fostering a community to collaboratively tackle challenges and seize opportunities and delve into the art of tailoring institutional libraries to meet the distinct needs and interests of students and communities.

This stimulating session is designed for institutions eager to reinvent their physical or digital libraries as dynamic hubs of collaboration. You'll learn how by partnering with students, community organizations, and local libraries, these revamped spaces can fortify democratic and educational infrastructure beyond campus boundaries, weaving a richer tapestry of knowledge and connection.
 

Session Outcomes:

Participants will:
 - Identify other institutional approaches to rethinking libraries
 - Implement new ideas and approaches to nontraditional libraries at their institution
 - Connect and build community with other attendees to further collaborate around creating communal connections among students, libraries, and institutions
