This opening session will situate participants for the day’s workshop by reflecting on the question of “What do faculty want?” through a discussion of our assumptions and perspectives, the role of plurality, and how a design framework can be used to create new habits.

Each panelist will focus on one of the following areas: scholarly communication initiatives, research instruction, and resource sharing/interlibrary loan.
