Please join a representative of Top Hat, plus several faculty that recently participated in a Top Hat pilot on their campuses. The faculty will discuss the challenges and positives of using the audience and student response system, and Top Hat will provide a brief demo.

The ability to teach untethered from the podium is a welcome change to faculty. These faculty will discuss the successes and challenges of teaching wirelessly, as well as, their reasons for utilizing these technologies (ex. Mersive Solstice, Apple TV, etc.) in their pedagogy.

Besides a charismatic speaker, what are ingredients for a great lecture? Technology + Design. We will explore technologies that let us turn a tablet into a mobile interactive whiteboard and teach wirelessly. We will also apply instructional and graphic design principles to help us craft a presentation that will resonate with learners and enhance the presenter’s delivery.
