Event Overview
Aerial Imagery and Cinematography is a three-day course designed to immerse participants in aerial data mission mapping, drone avionics, aerial cinematography, and photogrammetry and image processing. The course encourages teamwork, curiosity, critical thinking, perseverance, and creativity and will best suit the motivated individual who wants to learn practical techniques for acquiring and/or analyzing aerial data. Basic computer literacy and the ability to participate in moderate physical activity for lengthy periods of time (indoors and outdoors) are recommended skills for participants enrolled in this course.
We cover some, but not all, content found on the Knowledge exam necessary to pass for a FAA Remote Pilot Certificate.
The course is not designed as test prep course.
