Event Overview

 We are constantly being asked to cut back, or work with a limited budget. How do you maintain a high level of customer satisfaction while keeping your expenses low? The answer is utilizing a student workforce. How do you maintain and administer such a workforce? Participants will hear from universities that are currently utilizing student workers to help support their service desks, and how they handle the daily administration needs. Topics will include payroll, training, hiring, discipline, scheduling, and more.

Session Outcomes:
- Attendees will assess the need to create or revamp their student workforce.
- Leave with a better understanding of what a student workforce can do; they do not have to be regulated to only tier 1 support.
- Ideas to take and implement for their own student workforce.
