NERCOMP is pleased to announce this year's recipient of the Mark Berman Community Outreach Award is Christine Fitzgerald of Tufts University.

The award recognizes a member of a NERCOMP institution for their contributions to NERCOMP as well as to the larger higher education community. The person selected demonstrates excellence in nurturing relationships and bringing people together within higher education, regardless of who they are, where they are in their career, or their personal or professional identity.
The selection committee felt Christine best embodied the heart of the scholarship named for Mark. Like Mark, Christine's personal, individual interactions with people are why she is so impactful to the higher education IT community.
