Recording the class or session as it happens for the purpose of making the lecture content available to students through the LMS as a supplemental study tool for review. Recordings of this nature are intended for use within a single semester and do not replace instruction in the classroom in accordance with the faculty contract.

10:30am - 11:15am Use Case 2: The Flavors of Recorded Lecture
Recorded Lectures are made in advance of a class session as a supplement to posted class materials in an online, blended or web-enhanced class. Recordings of this nature are intended for use across multiple semesters. Recorded lectures may also be used in the event of a weather-related event or as part of a broader contingency planning process.
11:15am - 12:00pm Use Case 3: Managing Guest Speakers
Guest Speaker recordings (made in advance or in real time) may be used as to supplement spoken or posted course information. Guest speaker recordings are subject to copyright laws and may only be used with written consent of the speaker for a duration outlined in an agreement between the speaker and university.

1:00pm - 1:45pm Use Case 4: Recording Campus Events
Campus events are defined as a one-time event where the presenter has agreed to be recorded. Recorded events may be made public or shared with a specific group through a password protected channel - if the presenter has granted permission.
