Event Overview
Are you challenged with managing a student-run help desk? Maybe want to improve your student training processes?

Join us for this workshop to learn about the development and structure of a student-run help desk from the perspective of Manhattan College and other colleges such as Lehigh University, Bryn Mawr College, and Trinity College. Each presenter will cover topics relating to the state of their institution’s student-run help desk.

If you manage a team or seek to implement/improve a student-run help desk, you’ll want to attend this workshop and gain a framework and strategies and/or general training procedures to optimize your current helpdesk.

Session Outcomes:
Participants will be able to:
  - Reflect on what they learned and bring back ideas on how to improve their processes.
  - Identify the biggest issue/challenge you want to tackle in your workplace and how you can apply what you learned today to solve it..
  - Understand how to leverage technology to improve current student worker training.
