Event Overview
Higher education has been asking how to do the same things faster. AI enables a different question entirely: what becomes possible when the infrastructure fundamentally changes? This session reframes the AI conversation for campus leaders — moving from tool adoption to institutional capability building. BoodleBox presents the case for AI as a skill, not a subscription.
Audience: Higher Ed IT Leaders, VPs of Academic Technology, CIOs
Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Define the distinction between AI as automation (faster horses) vs. AI as infrastructure (better roads)
- Assess what 100x output looks like in a teaching and learning context without reducing headcount
- Describe how NERCOMP member institutions can evaluate AI readiness across three domains: faculty, students, and administration
- Understand applications after a live BoodleBox demo, including collaborative workspace, bot building, and AI Academy
