Gillian Bell
Gillian Bell is a Project Manager who leads Brown University’s faculty projects program, overseeing work of instructional designers and multimedia staff. She leads communication about Academic Technology services, including production of promotional videos and case studies. Gillian is a founder of Brown’s Women and Technology Group and won the 2019 Excellence Aware for Diversity and Inclusion. Gillian enjoys learning about creative ways to engage campus communities and is passionate about disability awareness and making technology accessible for all people. She is working toward an MA in Strategic Communication at the University of Iowa's School of Journalism
Bonnie Budd
Bonnie Budd has launched and improved learning design initiatives in academic, financial, healthcare, and research organizations including Harvard graduate schools, Edward Jones, and UMass Medical School. She is committed to the continuous improvement of learning experiences whenever and wherever they occur. Budd earned her BS in Mathematics from Salve Regina University and her MA in Adult Education from the University of Rhode Island. She is currently pursuing her EdD in Curriculum, Teaching, Learning and Leadership at Northeastern University.
Stacy Cohen
Stacy is the Instructional Technologist at Framingham State University. Working with the Education Technology and Instructional Design team, she supports faculty, staff, and students in the appropriate application and implementation of technology in the teaching and learning environment. Stacy’s projects include teaching with mobile devices, supporting the implementation of teaching with technology grants on campus, implementing classroom response systems, and implementing policy and procedures for lecture capture. Most recently, she has been involved in the process of rolling out Blackboard’s Outcomes product for Framingham State University. Stacy earned her Bachelors of Arts in English with a concentration in secondary education from Bridgewater State University and holds a Masters of Education in Education Technology from Framingham State University. As a licensed K12 English teacher-turned-technologist, she has developed a 360-degree view of teaching and learning and is focused on developing effective strategies and designing activities that use technology to help learners access content and develop transferable informational and technological fluency skills essential for success in an ever-changing professional world. Stacy has presented through NERCOMP and at small conferences on topics including best practices for leveraging virtual classroom tools, improving student engagement with mobile technologies, using augmented reality to promote active learning, recruiting and training student workers.
Stephen P. Gaughan
Steve Gaughan is a Geographic Information Systems Specialist and project manager with Dartmouth College’s Research Computing Office. He has 20 years of experience with research and data analysis.
Melissa Kane
Melissa Kane is an Instructional Designer at Brown University, and an instructor in the Master of Arts in Teaching program at Johnson & Wales University. Prior to her tenure at Brown, Melissa was an Instructional Design and Technology Specialist at Johnson & Wales University and a secondary English language arts teacher respectively. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Colby-Sawyer College, a Master of Science in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the State University of New York at Oswego, and a Doctorate of Education in Curriculum, Teaching, Learning and Leadership from Northeastern University.
Jing Qi
Jing presently serves as Learning Analytic and LMS Specialist at Dartmouth. Prior to joining the Dartmouth Information Technology and Consulting team, Dr. Qi had served as the Director of Institutional Research and Information Management at public institutions. She holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, and received her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Vermont. Dr. Qi has been working in the field of institutional research and instructional technologies for many years. Using her solid background in computer science, extensive experience in statistics, and strong interest in data visualization, she integrates the core elements of learning analytics and educational technology in the exploration of Analytics in Instructions and Learning. Maggie Regan
Currently as an Instructional Designer at Brown University Maggie supports faculty with using technology in their teaching and learning. Prior to working at Brown Maggie worked at Drexel University in the Instructional Technology department designing engaging learning experiences with faculty. Maggie has an M.S. in Learning Technologies from Drexel University and a B.S. in Business Administration from La Salle University.
