Kent Besaw
Kent is the Director of Customer Success Managers for Canvas. One of Kent's primary duties is representing the Canvas customer to other departments, including Product Management, at Instructure. Prior to his work at Instructure, Kent started and ran his own receivables management company for seven years. Kent earned his BA in Chinese and MBA, finance emphasis, from Brigham Young University. Outside of work Kent enjoys running, hiking, camping and anything that gets him out of doors. Kent is the proud father of four energetic boys and just celebrated his fifteenth wedding anniversary. 

Kris Bickell
Kris Bickell has been the Director of Online Learning at the University of Bridgeport (UB) since 2002. He coordinates the administration and support for all teaching and learning technologies at UB. Kris led UB's transition to Canvas in 2013, and is a member of UB's Retention Committee, where he helps provide the technical guidance for the University's student success initiative. Kris received his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and his M.A. in Teaching from the University of New Hampshire.


Kara Bilotta
Kara is an Associate Director of MBA Technology within the MBA Program at Harvard Business School.  Kara works as an information conduit and tech translator between the central IT group and the MBA Program.  This includes working on many IT projects, including Canvas and a new student portal myHBS.  Kara holds an MS in Organizational and Professional Communication and a BA in English from Regis College.


Josh Blumberg
Josh Blumberg is the Director of Academic Technology in the Center for Learning and Technology at Champlain College.  Josh came to Champlain College 5 years ago having previously worked as a K-12 technology director, teacher, educational software developer and outdoor guide.  Josh has a M.Ed from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.  He has a B.S. in Computer Science and B.A. in Cognitive Science from the University of Rochester.  16 years ago, I quit my job as a software developer to road trip around the country looking for innovative schools to work for.  I have been on that journey ever since.  I am also an avid rock climber, kayaker and skier.  I have a one year old daughter who I enjoy sharing my passion for learning and love of adventure with.


Kevin Corcoran
Kevin Corcoran has been the Executive Director of the Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium (CTDLC) since 2011. He joined the CTDLC in 1999 and has been responsible for developing and growing the services offered to support eLearning initiatives.

Kevin also runs Connecticut's Adult Education Virtual High School that supports the Adult Credit Diploma Program state-wide. He recently co-chaired Connecticut’s legislative OER Task Force and chairs the WCET e-Learning Consortia Group as well as the NENY Blackboard Users Group and Northeast OER organizations.

Kevin received his B.A. in English from the University of Connecticut and his M.B.A. with a specialization in Technology Management from Walden University.


Paul Craig
Paul is the Associate Director of Learning Technology Services at Harvard Business School.  Paul oversees two learning management systems and many of the school's custom learning technology tools from both a project and operational perspective.  When not thinking about educational technology, Paul can be found working on his cars or  programming Raspberry Pi's. 


Chris Gaudreau
Chris has been working in education (formally) at Bay Path University since 2014 and (informally) with Apple, Inc. from 2007-2014. His role as Learning Technologist helps faculty and students go Beyond Read, Write & Discuss by supporting multiple means of representation and expression using current - and tried & true - technology on all devices and platforms. 

 In 2017, he completed his M.Ed. in Learning, Media and Technology at the University of Massachusetts.


Shane O'Hara
Shane is a system administrator with the University of New Hampshire’s Academic Technology Division.  Shane has been with UNH since 2013 and has experience administering numerous software-as-a-service (SaaS) technologies including Canvas, Kaltura, Tegrity, Blue Explorance, OneCampus, and Zoom; among others. Shane was a key member of the project team that migrated from Blackboard to Canvas over a 10-month period in 2015.  His current responsibilities include ongoing system maintenance and care of Canvas, management of the LTI integrations, system analytics and reporting, and providing user support.  Prior to working at the UNH, Shane worked for the University of Southern Maine and the University of New England, and is a veteran of the United States Army.  Shane’s unique blend of technical and functional experience is ideal for implementing SaaS tools like Canvas.


Peter Testori
Peter A. Testori, MS, Executive Director of the Center for Online & Digital Learning and instructor in the higher education and WEL Programs, joined Bay Path University in 2010. He leads a team focused on teaching and learning with technology including instructional design, online learning, ePortfolios and digital badging.

 Mr. Testori holds a master’s degree in counseling with a specialization in student development and higher education from Central Connecticut State University. He continued his graduate studies in instructional technology and design at UMass Boston and is currently pursuing his doctor of education specializing in higher education administration at Northeastern University.  Mr. Testori is a member of NERCOMP and the Online Learning Consortium and currently serves on the board of directors for Square One, a Springfield-area nonprofit focused on providing early education, care and family support services.
