Event Overview

Every support desk needs a plan when introducing new services, but how many of us formally document how we plan to provide support for a new service? Most IT departments conduct project planning activities when implementing a new system or software. Is your support desk part of that process from the beginning, or is your team pulled in later, when the system is ready to go live? How can support services ensure a successful transition of a service or process to operation? Join us for this program on service and process planning divided into two unique parts.

Session Outcomes
• Generate a list of service planning activities your team can complete prior to supporting a new service
• Create a Process Map Template for use in the planning process when providing support for a new service
