Designing Interfaces for the User
Speaker: Lindsay Barton
Lindsay Barton is Assistant Director for Policy, Planning, and Analysis in the Library & Technology Services department at Brandeis University. In that role, she manages projects in the areas of planning, policy, and outreach (ranging from the migration to Google Apps to the overhaul of the LTS website), leads and supports data-driven decision making, and improves user experience as often as possible. She would much rather spend a Friday night playing with InDesign or learning jQuery than out at the club.
Speaker: James Milam
James Milam has eight years of interactive design experience, specifically within the field of IT. For the last six years he has been Senior Designer for the Center for Media and Instructional Innovation at Yale University, with responsibilities that include not only design, but functional requirements collection, user experience research, and project management.
