David Blezard
David is a Senior IT Manager at University of New Hampshire within the Academic Technology department.  He is involved in implementation, management, and administration of a range of academic-related technologies including computer labs and classrooms, web hosting services, media production and delivery, and application hosting.  David has presented numerous times at other regional and national events pertaining to technology support in higher education.  In addition, he teaches a course on network and system administration in the UNH’s Information Technology program.


Gaffer Fitch
Gaffer is a Principal Site Reliability Engineer at Tumblr. His focus there is empowerment through process and automation, how to create lightweight systems of efficiency, enabling engineers to get started quickly, develop simply, test thoroughly, and release cleanly.  Gaffer has also worked many self service applications at other employers such as TripAdvisor, where his work allowed engineers to carve space in Kubernetes with little effort on their part, and little oversight on his team's part. He also created Kloud of Things (klot.io), a side project running Kubernetes on Raspberry Pi's linked to Google Calendar and Text to Speech that yells at his children to get ready in the morning, specifically in an Australian accent.


Richard Nickle
Rick is chiefly interested in reliability engineering, security, maintainability, configuration management, automated testing and deployment. In addition to promoting a blameless DevOps culture within his own organization, he also enjoys supporting technical computing for the sciences at the College. Prior to working for the College of the Holy Cross, Rick specialized in design automation for Intel on several server microprocessor designs.


Chris Schneider
Chris is a senior systems administrator at the University of New Hampshire. His primary focus is on web scale application hosting and development operations. His work includes design and support of the web hosting platform, automation and development processes, and data feed integrations. With 16 years of experience, his goals are to continuously explore new ways in which to improve the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of IT systems and processes.
