Event Overview
Join us for a day-long workshop that will include an idea exchange, collaborative problem-solving, and a networking activity.

Who Should Attend
This workshop is focused on bringing together people who work in instructional design/learning experience design (and those who support them or work with them) to discuss some regional and national trends of the field. We will also share challenges, opportunities, and successes in the field with the hopes that such a cross-pollination provides each participant with new insights, resources, supports and projects that each can bring back to campus.

Breakdown those silos at your institutions by bridging the divides and learning from others about what is possible. As inquisitive, collaborative, and engaged learners by practice, Instructional Designers can use this opportunity to crowdsource temporary fixes and possible solutions to challenges they face in their daily work.

Session Outcomes:
- Articulate current trends and challenges in instructional design in higher education.
- Identify useful tools and resources to maintain and update one's instructional design skillset.
- Anticipate and address challenges and opportunities with faculty to enhance the standing of instructional design on campus.
- Advocate technological and pedagogical practices at respective institutes to enhance student learning.
