Lance Eaton
Lance is an instructional designer and faculty development specialist at Brandeis University, a doctoral student in UMASS Boston’s Higher Education program, and a part-time instructor at North Shore Community College and Southern New Hampshire University.  His professional work focuses on improving student learning and experiences in online, hybrid, and traditional classrooms through faculty development focused on issues such as accessibility, universal design for learning, open educational resources, open pedagogy, and other inclusive practices that maximize student potential through traditional and newer pedagogies and technologies.  His doctoral work focuses on the limitations of the academic publishing regime for scholars who rely on piracy practices to access research literature in order to publish new research. Jess Egan 
Jessica has worked at the intersection of teaching and technology for over ten years. With two degrees heavily focused on curriculum and instruction from Florida State University, she began her career as an ESL instructor and was quickly drawn to data-driven course design and ways instructional technology can enhance teaching and learning. She currently teaches English composition courses and serves as the Associate Director of Instructional Design and Faculty Development with The American Women's College at Bay Path University. Her primary focus with Bay Path includes overseeing instructional design for online learning and adaptive course design.


Theresa Gilliard-Cook
Theresa is the Senior Instructional Designer at the State University of New York (SUNY) Oswego.  In this role, she leads a team of Instructional Designers (IDs) to support faculty in online course development as well as provide consultation and assistance to teaching faculty regardless of modality.  Her responsibilities include scheduling and strategically supporting the hybrid and online course development and delivery processes as well as collaborating with department chairs and program coordinators to determine course development priorities to meet the needs of students in the college’s online programs and programs at the college’s branch campus.  Prior to joining SUNY Oswego, Theresa worked in higher education as a Helpdesk Manager and Technology Support Manager. She recently started a doctoral program at the University at Buffalo.


Greg Ketcham
Greg is the Assistant Dean in the Division of Extended Learning at SUNY Oswego.  Mr. Ketcham joined SUNY Oswego as the campus instructional designer in January 2005. His current responsibilities as Assistant Dean include research and development of online degree programs, budget management for online course development and delivery, oversight of instructional design services and adult student advising, coordination of prior learning assessment, and oversight of summer and winter sessions.  Ketcham’s previous work experience includes both new and broadcast media, with a national internet service provider and with PBS affiliates. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in learning science at the University of Buffalo.


Ruth Ronan
Ruth is a Senior Instructional Designer in the Teaching and Learning with Technology Division at Rutgers University. Her work involves acting as point of contact with specific schools and departments at the university for instructional design support; assisting faculty with online, blended, and face-to-face course development; facilitating a certificate program offering that introduces online course development; as well as, developing eLearning assets and webinar content. She received her MEd in Instructional Design from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Prior to joining Rutgers, she supported Higher Ed faculty in Boston and Worcester, MA, for eight years. Ruth has had a long career in professional development that began as a training manager in New York City’s corporate sector and continued in Massachusetts, supporting faculty in K12 schools with technology integration before finding her niche in Higher Ed. She has been involved in various curriculum development projects with a focus on curriculum alignment and outcomes-based assessment. She is committed to helping faculty apply best practices to achieve their pedagogical goals and values opportunities to facilitate faculty learning communities to promote the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.

Joe is an assistant professor of Public Relations in the Communication Studies Department at SUNY Oswego.


Dave Uibelhoer
Dave is an instructional designer at Rutgers University and a doctoral candidate at Seton Hall University.  His current professional duties include developing and designing online course content with faculty and other instructional designers, producing and editing multimedia for online and hybrid courses, and assisting with faculty/student training initiatives including LMS specific training, universal design and accessibility training and teaching in the online course certification program. Before joining the Teaching and Learning with Technology team at Rutgers, Dave spent close to a decade working at Seton Hall University School of Law where he led a team of faculty support specialists and helped to design online courses for the Division of Online Learning. His doctoral work focuses on exploring the experiences, values and identity of instructional designers working in higher education.
