His prior experience as a student and later full-time developer provides experience helps him architect systems that are robust, efficient, and easy to develop.

Outside of OTS, David has worked for a bio-tech startup developing and architecting systems that utilize machine learning in ICU and surgery settings. He currently volunteers for ScriptEd, teaching high-school students programming.

David takes his passion and experience with machine learning, software architecture, and teaching programming to NYU OTS by supporting student-led and developed research projects that include: applying machine learning to existing systems, introducing new technologies to the development team, and developing infrastructure to improve the development experience at NYU OTS.
